7ft actor was previously a bouncer

30 Rock actor Grizzwald ‘Grizz’ Chapman has died at the age of 52.

His character, also called Grizz, was a member of the entourage who hung out with Tracey Morgan’s character Tracey Jordan.

Standing 7ft tall, Chapman was working as a bouncer in a strip club when he met Morgan, who helped land him the role, which he played for seven seasons, appearing alongside Kevin Brown as Dot Com.

Chapman received a kidney transplant in July 2010 and was a spokesperson for the National Kidney Foundation.

He also created his own series of YouTube sketches called the Grizz Chronicles.

His death was first reported by Hollywood website TMZ.
