Leicester Square new comedian finalists named
...including a former BGT star
The finalists in the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year have been named.
Among them are Alex Mitchell, who previously made the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2024.
Also contesting the title in the central London venue on January 10 will be: Ajay Rose, Alan Jay. Charlie Firth, Charlie Lewis, Dom McGovern, Fab Goualin, Gabriel Madden, Hazel Donovan, Joe Peden, Lizzie Simpson, Ramsey Maberly-Smith, Roman Harris and Rosie Wood.
Though the final takes place next year, they are competing for the 2025 title.
Headlining will be 2024 winner Rohan Sharma, and the final will be compered by Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Sam Nicoresti – who won the title in 2023. Other previous winners include Sallyann Fellowes, Will Owen and David Eagle.
