West End competition announces its finalists

The finalists have been announced for the West End New (Old) Act of the Year.

They are: Dipak Patel, Donna Williams, Elaine Miles, Fred Bell, Melike Sabak, Miranda Brennan, Nick Morey, Nigel Wolfin , Paul Haines, Stanislav Gunko, Sudeepta Sanyal and Tracey Davies 

The final will take place on Monday December 1, at the Carpenter's Arms, just off Tottenham Court Road, MCed by Steve McLean and headlined by Sarah Mills, pictured. 

The West End New Act Of The Year began in 2022, with this spin-off launched the following year to showcase comedians over the age of 35. 

The winners will receive ‘a small amount of money’.
