As improv show marks Jane Austen's 250th anniversary

Paterson Joseph, Mel Giedroyc and Stephen Mangan are to make goes appearances in the improvised  Jane Austen show Austentatious.

They will be joining the group’s West End residency at the Vaudeville Theatre on Mondays December 1, 8 and 15 respectively.

Each performance creates a parody of a full Austen story from a title suggested by the audience, with the 700-plus stories dreamt up in the show’s 14-year history including the likes of Manspread Park, The Thursday Afternoon Tea Club and Tent and Tent Stability.

The guest performances mark the 250th anniversary of Austen’s birth in Hampshire next month.

The rotating Austentatious cast includes: Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Cariad Lloyd, Charlotte Gittins, Daniel Nils Roberts, Graham Dickson, Joseph Morpurgo, Lauren Shearing and Rachel Parris.
