How Will Adamsdale tried to write a sitcom with ChatGPT

Perrier-winner tells all in new show

Former Perrier winner Will Adamsdale is to tour a new show about writing a sitcom with Chat GPT.

Entitled AI, AI, Oh…, it will play a series of dates in the South West of England this autumn.

Subtitled ‘or how I wrote a hit sitcom with ChatGPT but we’re not talking now’, the show is an autobiographical story about a ‘washed-up London writer and technophobe’ who went off-grid during lockdown.

But facing the terror of a blanket page he had to turn to ‘is greatest enemy – technology’

The show was previously performed as a work in progress at The  Barbican in London last year.

Adamsdale won the Perrier at the 2004 Edinburgh Fringe with his one-man show called Jackson's Way. He had only planned a ten-day run but the show build momentum after being championed by Stewart Lee.
