Halifax Comedy Festival returns for 2025

Two-week festival confirmed

The Halifax Comedy Festival has announced its 2025 return, running for two weeks from Saturday October 18.

It includes visiting tour shows from the likes of Jason Manford, Dara Ó Briain, and Josh Widdicombe as well as circuit favourites such as Tiff Stevenson, Marcel Lucont and Stephen Bailey

It also includes a stand-up comedy competition, workshops, a family friendly show and a production of Peter Shaffer’s farce Black Comedy

Festival administrator  Chloe Bridgman said: ‘We are thrilled to be extending this year’s Comedy Festival to two fantastic weeks of comedy.

‘We know that laughter brings people together and we could all do with some unity in the world at the moment. This year's festival is bigger and more diverse than ever, and we can’t wait to see our community enjoying some shared laughter.’

The festival will be held at various venues across Halifax, including the Victoria Theatre, The Halifax Borough Market’s Albany Arcade, The Workshop, Nxt Lvl Bar, Ripponden Club, and The Cove in Brighouse.
