Comedian Laura Smyth is launching a podcast with her best friend Carmen Butcher, a production manager for films.
Shouldn’t Laugh But… – which launches on September 3 – aims to ‘put a stop to taking life too seriously and celebrate all things stupid’.
Smyth said: ‘This podcast is basically what happens when me and my best pal Carmen stop pretending to be normal. No filters, no rules – just us belly-laughing at the madness of life, from the ridiculous stuff we do ourselves to the Absolute Chaos going on in the world.’
Butcher added: ‘We’re diving headfirst into the wild and wonderful and the totally unhinged – whether it’s dodgy dating stories, awkward work disasters or the latest pop culture madness. Nothing’s off-limits, and everything’s up for a laugh.’
