
Filming starts on comedy movie Blueberry Inn
Jack Davenport plays a butler who takes over a pub
Jack Davenport is to star in a comedy movie about an emotionally stunted butler who is given broken-down inn by the lord he worked for.
Filming has just started on Blueberry Inn at Castle Howard in Yorkshire, trade website Screen Daily reports.
The movie also stars Sophia Di Martino – known for her comedy roles on Flowers, Friday Night Dinner and Lena Dunham’s forthcoming series Too Much.
Davenport came to prominence in This Life and Coupling, while his movie credits include James Norrington in the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Talented Mr. Ripley and Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Blueberry Inn is being directed by Sonia Guggenheim who previously co-directedThe Mad Whale – aboutinmates at a women's mental asylum stage a theatrical production of Moby Dick – in 2017.
Michael Maloney plays Lord Arlington with Chloe Lea and Alexander Arnold also in the cast.
