Channel 4 confirms Late Night Lycett's return

Six weeks of shows from the Birmingham canal

Late Night Lycett is returning to Channel 4 on April 12, Channel 4 has announced.

The show – which was recommissioned last August – will run for six weeks from April 12, again coming live from the banks of Birmingham’s canals.

Last year’s guests included Dame Joan Collins, Richard E Grant and David Harewood, while introducing the character of controversial straight-talking newsreader Richard Yewtree.

Lycett said: ‘The first series of Late Night Lycett was the most fun I've ever had making TV.

‘From Paul Chuckle destroying my local corner shop to Katherine Ryan being trapped on a floating barge, the whole thing feels like a crazed fever dream. I can't wait to go bigger and wilder in series two.’

Audience tickets are now available from SRO Audiences,
