Offering his 'Desert Island Comedy Flicks'

Last Leg presenter Adam Hills is joining the line-up for Bristol’s next annual Slapstick festival of screen comedy.

His Desert Island Comedy Flicks event on Sunday February 18 at Bristol Old Vic replaces a look back at Alan Bleasdale’s political comedy, GBH, which is being rescheduled for later this year.

Festival director Chris Daniels said: 'A scheduling clash regrettably means we’re having to delay the GBH show until later on but we’re delighted we can now bring Adam Hills on board.

'He is famous for his quick wit, mastery of slapstick-inspired pranks and his knowledge and love of many styles of comedy. So we’re expecting much hilarity and some very interesting film choices."

Adam is also joining for Mike McCartney of comedy band The Scaffold on Saturday 17 February at Bristol Beacon’s Lantern Hall for an event celebrating their shared love of Buster Keaton.
