Channel 4 announces scheduling

Taskmaster’s New Year Treat will air at 9pm on Tuesday January 2, Channel 4 has announced. 

The full list of those taking part in the one-off special are:

• Deborah Meaden,  the entrepreneur and star of Dragon’s Den 
• Kojey Radical, Mercury Prize and Mobo award-nominated music artist 
• Lenny Rush, 14-year-old star of Am I Being Unreasonable and Dodger
• Steve Backshall, TV presenter, adventurer, author and wildlife expert 
• Zoe Ball, radio and television presenter

The list includes the show’s first teenage contestant – 14-year-old s Rush – ahead of the launch of Junior Taskmaster next year, fronted by Rose Matafeo and Mike Wozniak.

As usual, the cast is drawn from a wider pool of celebrities beyond the comedians who normally take part. They will be competing for Greg Davies’s ‘Trophy of Eyebrows’ – with tasks set, as always, by Alex Horne.
