How original!

The world has got yet another true-crime podcast, this one hosted by Iain Stirling and his wife Laura Whitmore.

Murder They Wrote has been made for  BBC Radio 5 Live, with each episode focussing on a different criminal.  

Stirling said: ‘If, like us, you’re curious about how a honeymoon turned into a horror story, or the curious case of the hitman dentist, then this is the podcast for you.’

Whitmore added: ‘I’m so excited to bring our true crime obsession to BBC Sounds. I love the psychology of it all, getting into people’s mindsets and finding out what makes them tick.’ 

Apple currently has 240 podcasts listed in its ‘true crime’ category. 

Murder They Wrote with Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling will be available weekly on BBC Sounds from November 6.
