Mini-Vault festival line-up announced
With Adam Riches, Stevie Martin and more
London’s Vault Festival has announced the line-up for its second Pinch Of Vault spin-off event.
More than 50 shows will appear in this year’s festival in Waterloo from Wednesday May 24 to Sunday June 18.
Comedians taking part include Adam Riches, Stevie Martin (pictured) and musical comedian Amy Webber. All the comedy shows are at The Glitch cafe and bar, while other events also take place at the Sino Thai restaurant.
The main Vault festival is currently in limbo after the landlords of the space beneath Waterloo station that it normally occupies decided they could not make a long-term commitment for the event, which this year attracted more than 81,000 audience members to 553 shows.
Andy George, co-founder of the festival, said: ‘While the future of Vault Festival remains in the balance, we’re excited to continue sharing new work and supporting up and coming artists with the second edition of A Pinch of Vault.
‘Our campaign to #SaveVAULT is ongoing, and we’re currently exploring some potential leads – nothing is confirmed or secured yet though, so bringing brand-new work of artists that we’re really excited about to audiences through A Pinch of Vault is the perfect tonic.’
Other comedy shows include a variety of split-bills and works in progress from the likes of Jo Griffin, Sharlin Jahan, Lou Taylor, Shalaka Kurup, Farah Sharp, and Sharon Wanjohi.
