Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett and The Skewer make the nominations

The Skewer and Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett’s Radio 2 shows are up for awards at the New York Radio Festival.

The Skewer, Jon Holmes’ Radio 4 mash-up show, is up for best comedy programme – although no other shows appear to be listed in the same category – as well as best writing and best editing

For the Love of Hip Hop with Romesh Ranganathan is up for best regularly scheduled music program, while Beckett’s show is up for best entertainment magazine against Canada’s Buffy Sainte Marie on Q With Tom Power

Inside Ghosts – the accompaniment show to BBC One’s sitcom –  is up for best comedy podcast, where it again appears to be in a shortlist of one.

Graham Norton and Chris Evans’ Virgin Radio shows are also up for awards.
