Comic will be a panellist later this month
Joe Lycett is to make his debut on Have I Got News For You later this month.
Although a TV regular, Lycett has not previously appeared on the BBC One show, now in its 61st series.
He will be on the programme airing on Friday April 30, which will be hosted by Alexander Armstrong.
Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark will be the other guest, alongside regulars Paul Merton and Ian Hislop.
