61st series starts next month

David Tennant is to guest host the first episode of Have I Got News For You when it returns for a 61st series  next month.

It will be the seventh time the Staged star has chaired the BBC’s topical panel show since guest hosts were introduced in 2002

Jack Dee and journalist Helen Lewis will be the guests joining  Paul Merton and Ian Hislop.

Have I Got News For You returns to BBC One on Friday April 9 at 9.30pm, a slightly later timeslot than previous series.
