Funny Women announces its 2020 semi-finalists
Final due next month
The semi-finalists have been announced in this year’s Funny Women Stage Award.
They are: Victoria Olsina, Taran O’Sullivan, Suchandrika Chakrabarti, Olivia Flood-Wylie, Naomi Cooper, Mary O’Connell, Katie Green, Kathy Maniura, Karen Hobbs, Izzy Askwith, Gillian Fitzgerald, Fiona Ridgewell, Eryn Tett, Christina O’Sullivan, Ania Magliano and Ambika Mod.
All were chosen after 10 virtual heats.
The final is due to take place at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on September 19, depending on the rules about live performance.
