Alongside Jessica Hynes, Kermit and Miss Piggy

Greg Davies, Jessica Hynes, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will be among the celebrities handing out Bafta awards this Friday.

Taskmaster Davies and There She Goes star Hynes will join host Richard Ayoade in the studio,  which will be devoid of an audience, while The Muppets will be taking part via video link.

Other presenters will include Normal People’s Daisy Edgar-Jones and  Paul Mescal, keep-fit guru Joe Wicks, Chris O’Dowd, Jeff Goldblum, David Tennant and  Michael Sheen.

As previously announced, Tim Minchin will perform two tracks, including an original song composed specially for the event. 

Before the BBC One show, Tom Allen will host pre-show programme on Bafta’s social channels (Youtube, Twitter and Facebook) with guests including Jamie Demetrio and  Emily Atack.

That will run for an hour before the main show airs  on BBC One at 7pm.
