Finalists in new comedy competition named

The finalists have been announced in this year’s Amused Moose national new comedy award.

They are Helen Duff, Huge Davies, Jack Gleadow, Joseph Emslie, Michael Clarke, Olga Koch, Rob Oldham, Rosie Jones, Sam Whyte.

All nine will vie for the title at The Space @ Symposium Hall at the Edinburgh Fringe on August  13.

The Amused Moose also runs a separate comedy award for the best show at the Fringe from an act not big enough to have a DVD deal.  The top ten will be announced on August 17  before a final on the 20th.
