Co-creator Akemnji Ndifornyen suggests talks are under way
America could be getting its own version of Black Ops, co-creator Akemnji Ndifornyen has suggested.
The writer, who also plays Tevin in the comedy-thriller, hinted that talks were under way when he appeared at the BBC Comedy Festival in Liverpool yesterday.
‘I don’t really want to speak to stuff but things are bubbling,’ he said.
And he said that he thinks about a potential American version, ‘all the time… because of money.’
Ndifornyen co-created the comedy about two accidentally undercover officers with Gbemisola Ikumelo, who takes the lead alongside Saturday Night Live UK’s Hammed Animashaun.
Streaming platform Hulu has aired the show in the US – and yesterday the BBC announced a third season had been commissioned.
