Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed

Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed have been announced as first three hosts of Saturday Night Live UK.

And they will be joined by musical guests  Wet Leg, Wolf Alice and Kasabian - respectively. 

Fey’s involvement was reported earlier in the month. She has a long relationship with the US original, having joined as a writer in 1997 and rising to become the show's first female head writer two years later.

She moved in front of the camera, becoming co-anchor of the Weekend Update segment  and remaining with the show until 2006 when she left to create 30 Rock, the hit comedy based on her time at SNL. 

The UK show launches at 10pm this Saturday. It will run for six weeks with each episode running for  75 minutes.

Its regular cast comprises  Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
