Eva Peroni makes the Chortle Student Comedy Award final

Victory at the London semi-final

Eva Peroni has become the second finalist in this year’s Chortle Student Comedy Award.

Already a regular on the Scottish circuit, the 21-year-old is in the second year of a global law degree at Edinburgh University.

She triumphed at the semi-final at the Top Secret Comedy Club last night and joins Adam Ernest Pickard in the final at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe. 

Last month Peroni was also announced as the recipient to a fund designed to help working-class Scottish comics perform at the Fringe run by the Brass Tacks production company.

The next semi-final in  this year’s Chortle Student Comedy Award will be in Exeter next Thursday, March 12, compered by former Perrier winner Will Adamsdale. Tickets are available here.
