BRISTOL: Chortle's Hotshots programme launches for 2026 at The Gaffe comedy club, with a showcase of some promising Edinburgh Fringe debutants, one of whom will receive some financial and promotional help at this year's festival. NORWICH: Fresh from his success with The Ballad Of Wallis Island, Tim Key is back on tour with his new show Loganberry, reading poetry from cards, chugging lager and contemplating his life and career. 'I am very excited to traipse around the country again,' he said. Tim Key tour dates.
LONDON: Rosa Garland's Primal Bog, which Chortle's Tim Harding said was 'the most extraordinary show at the Fringe' last year comes to Soho Theatre until March 7. LONDON: Hard to believe that this is Aisling Bea's first-ever tour, but here we are. She has clearly been too busy with TV to play live until now. Kicking off with two dates at Soho Theatre Walthamstow, Older Than Jesus promises ‘whip-smart observations of being younger and getting older [and] the joyful chaos that comes with all the stages and changes you can hit in just one decade’, as Bea makes the transition into motherhood. LONDON: Sheng Wang, a Taiwanese American stand-up who was a writer for ABC sitcom series Fresh Off the Boat, comes to the capital with a gig at the Union Chapel. In September 2022 he released his first Netflix special Sweet & Juicy, directed by Ali Wong. Tickets.
DORCHESTER: A&E Comedy – aka Abigail Dooley and Emma Joy Edwards – embark on a nationwide tour with Game of Crones, a 'gloriously unapologetic' celebration of women in their third age, where society insists women quietly disappear. 'We’ve stopped trying to make sense of the world, and are claiming joy as an act of resistance,' say the duo in a statement.
