Monday January 5

LONDON: Roger O'Sullivan's Fekken – on the surface a nostalgia show about video games and growing up in the 1990s, but concealing a deeper story about his relationship with his father – was one of Chortle reviewer Tim Harding's top 20 comedy shows of 2025. Now it's at Soho Theatre for three nights ahead of a short tour of Ireland from next month. Roger O'Sullivan tour dates

Tuesday January 6

LEICESTER: Eric and Ern, Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens' affectionate tribute to Morecambe and Wise, featuring many of their classic routines, starts a two-week residency at the Curve Theatre. Arsenal!

Wednesday January 7

BARNARD CASTLE: Perthshire farmer and stand-up Jim Smith has a few dates around the North of England this month with a greatest-hits-and-more show entitled Prime Cuts, starting at Witham Hall tonight. Jim Smith tour dates.

LONDON: Horses was the first ever comedy show at the Edinburgh Fringe performed entirely by a horse. You might think you're looking at modern-day clown Elf Lyons, but it's actually Treacle that's performing, honest. The cult hit plays four nights at Soho Theatre from tonight. Review

Thursday January 8

LONDON: It's almost unheard-of to have a dud bill at the Comedy Store, but this weekend's line-up is especially appealing with top-flight comedy all-round from Hal Cruttenden, Laura Lexx, Paul Sinha and Tom Ward – with Amy Annette joining for Friday and Saturday.
