Comedians do Celebrity Mastermind

Who's on this year's roster – and what are their specialist subjctes

The raft of comedians taking part in this year’s Celebrity Mastermind has been revealed.

This year’s season kicks off on Monday with comic Desiree Burch competing against newsreader Maryam Moshiri, singer Chesney Hawkes and comic turned Uncanny presenter Danny Robins. Burch's specialist subject is the actress Viola Davis, while Robins will answer questions on The Mandalorian.

Host Clive Myrie said: ‘Celebrity Mastermind is not dissimilar to I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. The celebs are taken out of their comfort zone, and the pressure is on to succeed, but at least our celebrities don’t have to eat the unmentionables of farm animals.

‘These are people, who are so successful in their own fields, who are willing to put themselves through this frightening challenge. Sitting opposite me is their version of the Bushtucker Trial!’.
