'I've faced some fears' says comic as he's voted off I'm A Celebrity

Eddie Kadi last night became the second contestant to leave I’m A Celebrity.

Viewers voted the comedian out of the jungle two days after former footballer Alex Scott became the first off the show.

After he left the camp, he told hosts  Ant and Dec: ‘I'm happy and sad at the same time, I'm sappy. Honestly what a great time. I've had such an incredible time.

‘I have made amazing friends, faced some fears and to be fair, it feels very surreal to be on such an iconic show, but most of the time you forgot you were on a show.

'I feel like I've been in there a year, it's literally changed my life. Coming from Congo, where we have a massive rainforest, I feel like I've had a taste of what my grandparents experienced, and I realise now why they were so humble.

'They were joyful regardless of any situation. Even when you've got no food, it goes to show that we are enough as human people.'

He also joked that fellow campmate Ruby Wax might have some contraband in the jungle, saying she ‘has got some stuff, she's probably got her cats’.

And tipped Jack Osbourne to win the series, saying was jealous of how he coped.

‘Jack went straight through, for me it was like survival,’ Kadi said. 'It's like the first day of school when you're not sure who to be friends with. He knows what he's doing. He taught me how to start a fire, from that moment... he knows everything.’

It won’t be the last fans see of Kadi on TV this month, as he also took part in a celebrity version of The Apprentice for Children In Need, which will air on BBC One over Christmas.
