LONDON: The Lyric in Hammersmith is hosting a line-up of top comedy talent including Slim, Grace Campbell, Harriet Kemsley, Jeff Innocent and Larry Dean, Slim – all compered by Gbemi Oladipo.
LONDON: The West End New (Old) Act of the Year Final for comics over 35 takes place at The Carpenter's Arms in Fitzrovia. Dipak Patel, Donna Williams, Elaine Miles, Fred Bell, Melike Sabak, Miranda Brennan, Nick Morey, Nigel Wolfin , Paul Haines, Stanislav Gunko, Sudeepta Sanyal and Tracey Davies vie for the title.
DARTFORD: Katherine Ryan headlines the latest in the unbeatable Comedy Crackers line-ups popping up at theatres across the UK. Joining her at Orchard West are Thanyia Moore, Seann Walsh, Lindsey Santoro and Jack Skipper. Another is happening in Leicester with Romesh Ranganathan, Rhys James, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Ivo Graham and Louise Young.
GUILDFORD: …while in G Live another festive comedy brand, Live At Christmas, hosts a trio of Taskmaster alumni – Bridget Christie, Maisie Adam and Sam Campbell – plus Friday Night Dinner's Tom Rosenthal. This franchise hits a number of theatres in the South East this week.

LONDON: The Comedy Store hosts the final of the British Comedian of the Year, with the biggest cash prize in UK comedy – £10,001 – up for grabs, making it attracts the pros. Making this last stage are: Tom Ward, Harriet Dyer, Vlad Ilich, Joey Page, Tal Davies, Stephen Owen, Mike Reed.
LONDON: Anarchic sketch act Mr. Thing – aka Tom Clarkson and Owen Visser - bring their chaotic version of a TV festive variety show to the Southwark Playhouse, running right through until the 20th.
Wednesday December 3
LONDON: John-Luke Roberts revives his wonderful, weird-speaking alter-ego Geoffrey Chaucer for a Mediaeval Christmas Festivitye in the church crypt which is the Museum of Comedy. It features fellow oddballs Joz Norris, Lorna Rose Treen, Ella the Great, Paulina Lenoir, Jonno and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Sam Nicoresti. The show visits Bristol Alma Theatre on Wednesday and Manchester's 53Two – home of XS Malarley – next Monday.
Thursday December 4
COVENTRY: The Empire hosts both the tightest writer in stand-up – Gary Delaney – and one of the loosest, with the Tony Law's delightful streams of surrealism. Finlay Christie and Aideen McQueen close of a strong bill. Tickets

LONDON: The Theatre Royal Stratford East hosts 'a merry old variety night' featuring stand-up powerhouse Thanyia Moore, musical comedy whizzes Flo and Joan and Dru Cripps, and eccentric ventriloquist Lachlan Werner on a mixed bill that also includes London School of Samba, Stratford East Singers, Bollywood Vibes, Jiving Lindy Hoppers and the Majorettes
