Stay Golden world tour expands
Matt Rife has announced three UK and one Irish date in his Stay Golden world tour next year.
They are among more than 40 new dates the comic has unveiled, having broken sales records at several US venues in the first leg of the tour. Many of the shows will be performed in the round.
The news comes ahead of the release of Rife’s next special for Netflix on December 2. Unwrapped: A Christmas Crowd Work Special, has the comedian chat to the audience in Phoenix, Arizona, about gifts and festive traditions.
Rife came to prominence after making three self-produced comedy specials. He caused controversy with misogynistic and domestic violence jokes in his 2023 Netflix show Natural Selection.
Earlier this year he ranked at No7 on Forbes’s ‘top-earning creator’s list, with estimated earnings of $50 million.
His last tour, ProbleMATTic World Tour, sold more than 600,000 tickets across 250-plus shows in under 48 hours
Rife will play Dublin’s 3Arena on April 22 (Tickets) followed by the O2 in London on the 23rd (Tickets); AO Arena in Manchester on the 24th (Tickets); and OVO Hydro in Glasgow on the 25th (Tickets).
Tickets go on general sale from noon on Friday.
