Michael McIntyre’s wealth grew £2million last year, Companies House documents show.

His company, Breachcroft Ltd, was sitting on assets of £6.88million last October – up from £4.9million 12 months earlier.

The comic and his wife Kitty are the only two directors of the company, set up in 2013 to deal with his ‘artistic creations'.

McIntyre is also a director of the production company  Hungry McBear, alongside TV producer Dan Baldwin, Holly Willoughby’s husband.

It makes shows including Michael McIntyre's Big Show and The Wheel and is sitting on shareholder funds of £1.72million, according to its latest filings. 

Breachcroft paid £659,322 in corporation tax over the year the newly filed accounts cover.
