Detals of Close Personal Friends still under wraps

Stath Lets Flats stars Natasia Demetriou and  Dustin Demri-Burns  have joined the cast of a new Hollywood comedy film Close Personal Friends.

Details of the movie’s plot have been kept under wraps but it is headlined by Brie Larson, Jack Quid and Lily Collins.

It is being directed by Jason Orley who wrote the script with Isaac Aptaker, reprising the same collaboration behind the 2022 rom-com I Want You Back.

Demetriou – who appeared alongside her brother Jamie in Stath – is known to US audiences as one the stars of What We Do In The Shadows. And Demri-Burns – formerly of the Cardinal Burns double act – was Min Harper in series one of Slow Horses and Voltaire in The Great.

Also announced  as joining the cast of  Close Personal Friends last night was US comic Patti Harrison – a regular visitor to the UK – and Saturday Night Live’s first Latina cast member, Melissa Villaseñor.

Anna Konkle from PEN15 and Jack Shalloo from Harlan Coben’s Stay Close have also joined the project, which is being made by Amazon MGM Studios, Hollywood trade website Deadline reported.
