Wednesday August 6

GLASGOW: The Stand comedy club is on the move after 25 years in its current location. It's not going far, but Scottish stand-up stalwarts Mark Nelson and Fred MacAulay – who also played the venue's opening nights – are bidding farewell with a mix of material old and new and reminiscences about their experiences in the much-loved venue.

LONDON: Not quite every decent comedian in London has moved to Edinburgh for the month. There's a strong line-up at Dulwich Hamlet tonight with Jacob Hawley, Laura Smyth, Matt Hutchinson and Michelle Shaughnessy.

Friday August 8

LONDON: The self-described 'Pansexual People’s Princess of New Zealand', Brynley Stent, brings her latest absurdist solo sketch show to Soho Theatre for two nights. Slut Witch is described as 'part theatrical horror show, part group therapy session.'
