The best of the week's comedy on TV, radio and on demand
There's not much to report for comedy on TV, radio and streaming this week, just this...
Monday July 14
SHARK! CELEBRITY INFESTED WATERS: Ross Noble and Lenny Henry are among the famous names going diving with man-eating sharks on …and on the 50th anniversary of Jaws, too, Lucy Punch, Helen George, Rachel Riley and Ade Adepitan complete the line-up. ITV, 9pm
GOVAN FAIR QUEEN: Comedian and online sketch-maker Paul Black wrote this comedy short/pilot in which Scottish comedy royalty Elaine C Smith plays sharp-tongued Linda, who ropes her granddaughter Abigail into a beauty pageant in an attempt to win a trip to Florida. BBC Scotland, 9.30pm and repeated on BBC Three at 11pm on Thursday.
GOOD FOR HER: That's followed by another pilot from Zara Gladman, known for her internet sketches revolving around West End mum Aileen. She features here alongside the Scottish reporter with that 'newsreader accent' and a woman who may or may not be a rat BBC Scotland, 9.40pm.
FABRIZIO COPANO: FROM THE FUTURE The Chilean comedian is releasing his debut English-language comedy special From The Future on 800 Pound Gorilla today, about claiming a new identity while trying not to lose the old one as he became a US citizen.
