Still Game mural appears in Glasgow

comedyA mural of Still Game character Winston Ingram has appeared in Glasgow city centre.

Street artist Tef sprayed the image on a wall just off Queen Street, showing the OAP – as played by Paul Riley – wearing his trademark red jacket and flat cap.

Tef posted a video of his work on social media with the caption ‘Stevieee’, a nod to the character’s interaction with Stevie the bookie.

Gavin Mitchell, who plays Bobby the Barman in Still Game, reacted to the video with applause emojis.

Tef is known for his artwork featuring hoodie-clad pigeons, but he is no stranger to depicting comedy icons, having previously painted Frankie Boyle on a Paisley cycle path and Limmy in the district of Yoker – which was later visited by the comic himself:
