BILL DARE: COMEDY ALCHEMIST: Hugh Dennis hosts this tribute to radio's unsung comedy guru behind The Mary Whitehouse Experience, Dead Ringers, I've Never Seen Star Wars and so much more. Dare died in a car crash in March, aged 64.BBC Radio 4, 6.30pm
CHURCHILL'S BUST: When Donald Trump puts the bust of Churchill back in The Oval Office, after several years absence, Winston becomes increasingly disturbed at what he is witnessing. Jon Culshaw and Daniel Weyman star in David Morley's satirical take on recent events. BBC Radio 4, 2.15pm

NOT GOING OUT: Lee Mack's sitcom returns for a remarkable 14th series – and with another time leap, with the characters of Lee and Lucy (Sally Bretton) now empty-nesters, moving away from the suburbs and having time for each other, for better or worse. This series opener sees them buying a house from a vendor played by Mike Wozniak. And in another shift, each episode now unfolds in real time. Mack told the Radio Times: 'What I’m trying to do is get the audience involved, to make them feel like they’re witnessing an event that’s happened. And hopefully that carries over when you’re watching at home.' BBC One, 9pm
DEAD RINGERS: The topical comedy show returns, with Jon Holmes as its new producer. BBC Radio 4, 6.30pm

THE COMEDY CLUB: Radio 4 Extra joins the tributes to Bill Dare with repeat airings of some of his shows tonight and tomorrow. Today is some of his lesser-heard work, starting with the first thing he wrote for Radio 4. Barker Belgrave and Bigweed, a 30-Minute Theatre play from 1987 about two old school friends of meet up every few years to reminisce about another chum who may or may not exist. The strand will also include an episode of his 1990s parody of daytime TV Life, Death and Sex with Mike and Sue; Brian Gulliver’s Travels, in which Neil Pearson played a travel documentary-maker sharing outlandish tales of his adventures; and Big Town All Stars, a series about an amateur a cappella group that starred Meera Syal and Stephen Tompkinson. Radio 4 Extra, 10pm.
