Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond stars unite

Nineties sitcom superstars Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano are to star in a new dark comedy series for Netflix.

No Good Deed has been created by Liz Feldman, the writer behind the platform’s previous hit  Dead To Me

It follows the lives of three families vying for the same 1920s-Spanish-style villa in Los Angeles.

Everybody Loves Raymond star Romano will play Paul Morgan, a stressed and flat-broke contractor desperate to retire, pay off his debts, and escape LA.

He thinks selling his beautiful home is the solution to all his and his wife Lydia’s problems, but his past mistakes will continue to haunt him.

Friends star Kudrow will play his wife Lydia Morgan, a highly talented and highly strung former concert pianist, distraught by the idea of selling their home, ‘a place filled with happy memories and dark secrets’.

Kudrow previously appeared in Mae Martin’s Feel Good on Netflix

According to Feldman, No Good Deed was inspired by her ‘many late nights during the early pandemic maniacally searching Zillow listings for a way out of my house’

Feldman will also serve as the series’ executive producer, alongside others including Will Ferrell.
