EVIL GENIUS WITH Russell Kane: Moving from podcast to TV, this comedy discussion show that delves into the biographies of polarising figures from the past to ask the simple question: Are they Evil or Genius? SUCH BRAVE GIRLS: A new dysfunctional family sitcom following sisters Josie (Kat Sadler - who also wrote it, based on her own experiences) and Billie (played by Kat’s real-life sister, Lizzie Davidson) and their single mother Deb (Louise Brealey) navigating life armed with nothing but poor judgement and self-esteem exclusively tied to people who couldn't care less about them. They're vain, selfish, heavily in debt, pathologically desperate for affection and bursting with misplaced, terrifying love… Sadler and Davidson talk about the show here. BBC Three, 10pm

I'LL GET THIS: New to Dave, this 2018 BBC Two show features five celebrities meeting at a restaurant for a fancy meal. The catch is they have to play games between courses and the loser will have to pay for everyone's dinner. Ellie Taylor and Ed Gambl are among the diners in episode one, and Tom Davis and Julian Clary in episode two of this opening double bill. Dave, 10pm

TASKMASTER - THE FINAL: In this episode - entitled Always Forks and Marbles - we find out who will be the 16th Tasksmaster champion: Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont (improbable), Sam Campbell, Sue Perkins or Susan Wokoma. Channel 4, 9pm

THE ART OF FILM WITH IAN NATHAN: The film writer looks at comedy, parody and satire in this episode. He takes in the early days of on-screen comedy with the breakthrough silent actors who took vaudeville slapstick to the next level, including Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin. As silent film gave way to talkies, films found new ways to keep the laughs coming, with stars like Groucho Marx bringing his famous one-liners to the screen in Duck Soup, and Peter Sellers excelling in satire in titles like I’m All Right, Jack and Two Way Stretch. PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES: A topical Thanksgiving night screening for John Hughes' cult 1987 comedy in which fastidious businessman Neal Page (Steve Martin) and slobbish shower curtain salesman Del Griffith (John Candy) are thrown together when trying to get home from New York to Chicago to be with their families. TWO DOORS DOWN: The Scottish suburban comedy has been quietly but assuredly growing year on year, and now lands a prime-time BBC One slot for its seventh series.
