Cornish comedian Jethro left £3.3 million in his will, probate records show.

The stand-up, whose real name was Geoff Rowe, died in hospital on December 14, 2021 from Covid at the age of 73.

He left the bulk of his estate to his long-term partner Jennie Barriball, including his home near Okehampton, Devon,  another property in nearby Lifton, plus £250,000 in cash.

A total of £20,000 worth of Premium Bonds was shared equally between his three grandchildrenm while he rest of his estate went to his sons Jesse and Lanyon Rowe, MailOnline reports. 

At the height of his popularity in the 1990s, Jethro sold 250,000 theatre seats a year and released more than a dozen stand-up videos.

Away from the stage, he was a notable horse breeder.
