...as Beckett hosts new TV quiz On Demand

Rob & Romesh is to return for fifth series, broadcaster Sky has announced.

Over the new hour-long episodes, to air later this year, Mssrs Beckett and Ranganathan will be

• Jetting off to Las Vegas learning the tricks and trades from the magiciabs Penn & Teller for Rob & Romesh Vs Magic
• Joining the London Philharmonic Orchestra at their Royal Festival Hall residency in Rob & Romesh Vs Classical Music
• Heading to India in Rob & Romesh Vs Bollywood, as they are trained in elaborate dance routines and fight scenes, before facing the test at a casting audition for a real movie
• Competing to be best in show in Rob & Romesh Vs Crufts. 

Sky today also confirmed the new TV-based quiz show provisionally called On Demand, as previously reported by Chortle, with Beckett hosting and Josh Widdicombe as team captain.

The broadcaster also announced that Alison Hammond would be the opposing captain.

She said: ‘This will be my first time working with Sky so I’m thrilled to be finally joining the family. We all know that I love a bit of telly – when I’m not actually on it, I’m watching it – so I’m going to apply everything I know and have learned over the years and go for the win. Watch out Josh babs.’
