Celebrity names revealed

The contestants have been announced for the next Taskmaster’s New Year Treat.

The five celebrities taking part in the one-off – expected to air on January 1 are:

• Four-time Olympic gold medallist Sir Mo Farah, the show's first knight
• Countdown queen and Loose Woman Carol Vorderman
• Radio 1 breakfast show presenter Greg James,
• Rebecca Lucy Taylor, the musician who performs under the name Self Esteem.
• Amelia Demoldenberg, the YouTube comedian behind the Chicken Shop Date 

As usual for the specials, producers have looked beyond the world of stand-up for the contestants who will be set challenges by series creator Alex Horne, then judged harshly by Taskmaster Greg Davies.

Taskmaster currently airs on Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 4, with the champion being crowned next week.
