Filming under way on seasons 10 and 11

Two new series of Horrible Histories are being recorded.

The BBC has yet to confirm the return of the educational kids’ sketch show, but its official Twitter account has announced the news that seasons ten and 11 are both in the workds:

The show launched in 2009 with a core cast who went on to make BBC One’s Ghosts:     Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond, Martha Howe-Douglas and Jim Howick.

It was revamped after five series in 2015 with a new cast including Richard David-Caine, Katode Ewumi, James McNicholas Jessica Ransom and Tom Stourton.

The ninth series ended in February, and over all seasons, the show has won four Baftas, an international Emmy and two Royal Television Society Awards among other accolades.
