And Steve Pemberton makes a guest appearance in series 4

Sky has ordered a fifth series of Brassic  to air next year.

The broadcaster announced the news even before series four has aired, with new episodes coming from September 7.

It has also been announced that Inside No 9’s Steve Pemberton will be making a cameo appearance in series 4 as one of the guests at a murder-mystery night.

The new series follows Vinnie (Joseph Gilgun) as he tracks down Erin (Michelle Keegan), who fled Hawley at the end of the last series to escape dangerous criminal Terence McCann.

Brassic’s cast also includes Dominic West, Damien Molony, Tom Hanson, Aaron Heffernan, Ryan Sampson, Parth Thakerar, Bronagh Gallagher, Joanna Higson and Steve Evets.

Filming on series five starts imminently.
