With AJ Odudu

Tom Allen is to host the red carpet show before this year’s Bafta film awards.

The comic and AJ Odudu have today been announced as co-presenters of the streamed programme on Sunday March 13.

They will also announce this year’s nominations on Thursday  February 3.

 Allen said: ‘I am so excited to be on the red carpet - in fact I’m excited to be on any carpet as we have laminate flooring in our house…’

Odudu added: ‘I can't wait to put on a posh frock and get chatting.’

As previously announced, Rebel Wilson will host this year’s film awards ceremony at Royal Albert Hall, which will be broadcast on BBC One.
