BBC orders a second series of Zoe Lyons quiz show

BBC Two has ordered a second series of Zoe Lyons quiz show Lightning.

Another 30 episodes of the early evening programme will be filmed in Belfast to go out next year.

In the show, six contestants answering quick-fire questions in a bid not to be caught in a roving spotlight when the time runs out.

Lyons said: ‘I am absolutely delighted that Lightning does indeed strike twice.

‘It is great to be involved in this brilliant show that clearly was a hit with the viewers in the first series.’

The show, produced by Fizz and Nice One, will air in a 6.30pm weekday slot.
