Sex Bomb out next year

Sadia Azmat is to publish Sex Bomb, a ‘conversation-starting’ memoir about being a sexually liberated, hijab-wearing Muslim woman.

Publishers Headline say the  ‘vibrant, funny’ book - out in March - offers ‘a whole new look at the experiences of a Muslim woman’.

And the comedian herself told trade website  The Bookseller: "It hasn’t always been easy admitting I'm a horny Muslim and I can't wait to share all the details on how I've learned to love everything about my experiences.’

The title’s blurb adds that ‘Sadia shows how the different sides of her identity and personality have fought and embraced each other over the course of her life. From being viewed as a "sister" being a real cock-block, to growing up and being criticised by Muslims and white people alike for speaking out on sex; from her experiences of dating Asian men and white men to her tumultuous relationship with her headscarf, Sadia is unafraid to give you the honest truth’
