Celebration to air on Sky

The Friends reunion will be  available to UK and Irish viewers exclusively on Sky and streaming service Now from next Thursday, the broadcaster has announced.

It is the same day the programme will be streamed on HBO Max in the US. 

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer returned to the comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, where the sets have been recreated. 

A trailer released earlier this week shows them playing trivia games based on the show and do a table-read of a scene from the episode The One Where Everyone Finds Out.

And it revealed guest stars including Tom Selleck and Maggie Wheeler, who played Chandler’s on-off girlfriend Janice, plus James Corden conducting some of the interview.

Other guest stars include  David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliot Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles,  James Michael Tyler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.

 The special will air on demand from 8am and on Sky One at 8pm on Thursday May 27.
