Charlie Cooper: I have coronavirus

This Country star posts from his sickbed

This Country star Charlie Cooper has revealed  how he believes he 'most definitely' has come down with coronavirus.

However, the 30-year-old, who plays Lee 'Kurtan' Mucklowe on the BBC comedy that he co-created with sister Daisy May, admits he has not been treated yet.

He posted a series of photos of himself looking ill on Instagram and wrote: ‘Haven't been properly tested but I most definitely have it. Felt awful yesterday but a bit better today thankfully. Seems to come and go in waves.

'Incredibly grateful for paracetamol and @footballmanager right now. 'And thank you for all your kind messages about the episode last night. It means the world to us. Love you all and look after yourselves x'.

He said it began with a  'tickle' in his throat, and then felt aches over his body and a high temperature, followed by a migrane.

Charlie concluded that it was ‘no worse than any virus I've had before’ but admitted he was getting bored in self-isolation.

He added: ‘I had a neighbour leave some shepherds pie on my doorstep which I'm eternally grateful for.’

A total of 71 people have so far died of the Covid-19 virus in the UK.
