Another award for Fleabag

Fleabag has been named best comedy at the TV industry’s Broadcast Awards after one judge called it ‘literally the best show in the world last year’

Another judge said the second series of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s show was a game-changer that had resonated with the audience like no other comedy, while another said that it was ‘faultless from the first minute to the last’.

The BBC show has already won her a slew of awards, including six Emmys.

Highly commended were Mum (‘as tender as it was funny’); Derry Girls, Inside No 9 Live,  Stath Lets Flats and This Time With Alan Partridge.
