Scot Squad to return for more episodes in 2020

Scot Squad is to return for five new episodes next year, BBC Scotland has announced.

Jack Docherty will return as  Chief Commissioner Cameron Miekelson for the episodes, made by Glasgow-based The Comedy Unit.

The news comes the day after it was announced that he would be interviewing, in character, the leaders of all Scotland’s major political parties for a general election special next week.

Also returning for the mockumentary  episodes are regular cast members Jordan Young, Sally Reid, Grado, Manjot Sumal, Darren Connell, Karen Barkte, Louise McCarthy, Julie Wilson Nimmo, Chris Forbes, James Allenby-Kirk and Ashley Smith.
