Director reveals series 3 air date

Series three of  This Country will air in February, its director has revealed.

Tom George shared a picture from the edit suite on his Twitter account to say that the final cut had been completed.

On his computer screen, siblings Charlie and Daisy May Cooper can be seen in their roles as cousins Kurtan and Kerry Mucklowe, chatting in a Gloucestershire field.

The series was filmed on location in the Cotswolds in September.

It was originally given the green light in April last year, just after the last run of episodes aired. There was also a one-off special in October 2018 and a recently published spin-off book.

Since the last episode Daisy May has given birth to a  daughter, but Michael Sleggs – who played Slugs – died at 33. The stars have said there will be a tribute to their friend in the new series.
