Making history: the TV comedy show with all black women on the panel
Landmark for Don’t Hate The Playaz
An ITV2 panel show will tonight become the first to feaure only black women on the teams.
Hip-hop comedy show Don’t Hate The Playaz will feature Maya Jama, Sabrina Washington and London Hughes taking on Lady Leshurr, Sophie Duker and Ms Banks.
The show's official Twitter account posted: 'This is what an all black, all female TV panel looks like. It's a TV first! And we feel incredibly lucky to have these amazing women fronting this week's DHTP.'
Hughes added: 'Everywhere we go we making history', and Duker said: 'You love to see it'.
And Lady Leshurr said: 'Today we make TV history with nothing BUT melanin on your screens!!! A whole panel of black women ft special guest @MsBanks! It’s gonna be a mad 1'
The episode, hosted by Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens, airs at 10pm tonight.
